Get Your Spook On...

Halloween time is just a few weeks away, so I thought I'd ink up
this new Angiegirl stamp - Spooky Girl!

Colored her in with Copic Markers, and added a few fun designer papers to match
her outfit, and I love that the designer paper on the tag
picked up on that cute spider necklace with little spiders in a web!
Love when that happens!

Hurry on over to the Unity sale that's going on and grab this one for just $10!!

Fun Halloween Card...

Sharing my sweet little Jack-O'-Lantern card with you today!
I first started by making my card base using the French Flair Classic Silver Stacker die
Then, I proceeded to cut out the largest pumpkin from the Jack-O'-Lanterns set,
all three bats from the Going Batty set, and then the Witch Hat die.
Then, I distressed inked each of these and came out with this night time scene!

Hope you enjoy fun ways of mixing and matching all the amazing
Halloween dies you can purchase from the Cheery Lynn Designs store!

Trick or Treat Sparkly & Shiny Card...

I have a fun Halloween card to share with you using some of
Cheery Lynn Designs newest release dies!

I first started by creating my card base in orange designer paper.
Then, layered a black and white designer paper to that top.
I added these layers and tucked them under the main
small diamond designer paper!

Next, I die cut the Trick or Treat die, and distress inked the
sentiment in several colors.  I poured some distressed crackle, and once dried,
I distressed inked in some walnut stain distress, so that cracks
would really stand out!

Then, I cut out the Rose Leaf Strip
Build a Flower #1 (for center of flower), and the Daisy Strip!  Each piece
was distress inked and I also added some distress glitter to the flower center!!

Finally, I die cut the Horrible Cat and  two of the Jack-O'-Lanterns!
Then, poured some distressed glitters to the top of each of these dies.
I just love the sparkly and amazing texture this adds to the dies!

I also added a few Ivy Strip die cuts to the top of the smaller pumpkin and
also to the top of the medium size pumpkin.
I added some Glossy Accents to each of the ivy leaves for some added shine!

You would be amazed at the sparkly, shiny and crackly texture on this card!

Happy Halloween...

Another fun challenge at Cheery Lynn Designs starts today...
and, it's "fun with letters"!

So, I pulled out a couple of the newer Cheery Lynn Design dies,
like the Happy Halloween Twiggy Wreath and the 100 Stars!

I decided create a little background scene within the middle of the wreath
that features the little black crow perched in front of the birdie house.
The little stars a twinkling in the background.

I made a few purple roses and tied the twine into a bow,
amongst the green Ivy Strip and Wheat Head dies!

Love the fun letters in this sentiment..

Come play along in the weekly challenge...
I look forward to seeing your projects!!

Wheat Heads (set of 2)

Cheery Lynn Designs Challenge 101 - Halloween!!

Hello! It's time for another Cheery Lynn Designs Challenge!
This week it's all about "Halloween"!!

Today, I'm happy to share a wicked spooky card with you...
Tearing, stitching, and distressing to match the spider web background designer paper.
Quite a bit of layering, of different dies...even added a skeleton and paper-cut out banner
right in front of the tiny French Pastry doily.

Those Shasta Daisy flowers are distress inked in various colors.
The centers are part of the Embellishment #1 dies.
Then, I added my own handmade stick pin in matching colors
of orange, purple, and a bit of gold brass metal!

The sentiment is part of the designer paper cut-out! I hand trimmed all around the base!
I love the way it coordinates with the French Flair Stacker die (bats flying toward the moon)!

Have a terrific Sunday!!

H{ippity} Hoppin'...Trick or Treat!!

Hi there!  Hope your weekend was wonderful!  Today..Lisa A is hosting {ippity} challenge IHHC45, which is to use "kraft, orange, and black"!  So, here's my take on it...

"Trick or Treat"

I thought it would be kind of fun to use the {ippity} "Dots for Sure" and "Book It" stamps to mimic paper instead of using designer paper today!  Everything's been stamped with Ranger distress inks, and then later distressed around all the edges for a vintage look.

Noticing that there were little tiny bats within the {ippity}"That's Creepy" sentiment, I thought...how fun would it be to pair these stamps with the sweet little Sillhouette die cut "Bats" (C00927_19210) by Samantha Walker!!  The top one is ties up to the top of the card, whereas with the bottom ones I decided to cut the ties and have them just fluttering around!!  The card base is another Silhouette die cut "Artisan Nesting Rectangular" (C00685_19210)..also by Samantha Walker!  I just adore that shape, and love how you can use it to stand upwards or sideways!!

Thanks for this fun challenge Lisa!!  I hope that you'll stop by the SCS Forum to play in this week's challenge!!

Hope you have a great week!!

Hugs & Smiles,
