Autumn Harvest
I been thinking about summer ending
fall beginning, about Halloween
and all the children dressed in glad array.
I been thinking
about apple cider, good to drink
pumpkin pie
and the sounds of trick or treat.
I been thinking
about the days getting shorter
and the wind and rain
making the leaves fall to the earth again
acorns and pinecones, late blooming flowers
harvest, candy apples, I been thinking.

Friends with Flair!

Happy Friday & Happy Friends with Flair Day!!

I love UNITY sentiments and quotes!  

I especially LOVE  this set called "FOREVER FRIENDS"!!

I love the mix of designer papers from the "Be My Valentine" collection by We R Memory Keepers, so I thought I'd go for a CAS style card today!  I'm letting that sentiment take center stage aslong side a bunch of tiny rose flowers!  And, to top it off, using my Baker's twine called "Lemondrops" from The Twinery!  Makes me wanna pucker up when I say LEMONDROPS! 

Hope you will have a wonderful weekend!  I am looking forward to Superbowl Sunday and relaxing after a long week! How about you? Be safe, if you are in one of the areas being hit with the big chilly winter storm!!

Cuckoo for You..Darling Marci!!

Something to be Thankful For...

I've got an autumn card to share with you today!!  I'm sharing sweet La-La Land Crafts Winter Marci! I love her little pose, and the sweetness in her face just makes me smile each time I see her! 

Today, I am featuring Marci with these designer papers from We R Memory Keepers called "Maple Grove"!!   I just love these warm fall colors, so I had to show off beautiful Marci in her matching coat and hat with black pearl buttons!  Now, Little Marci is ready to be sent to that special someone to let them know that "there is always something to be thankful for"!!

Unity Hip Hop and {ippity}'s SPRING RELEASE Party!!

So excited that the day is here!!!  It's Unity Hip Hop Day, time for{ippity}'s Spring Release reveal and it's time to party!!  

I recently picked up these gorgeous designer papers by We R Memory Keepsers called "Vintage Blue", and immediately fell in love with the whole line!   I thought what a wonderful color palette, and beautiful designs for these NEW {ippity} sets...and they are so vintagey, which I just adore!!

I've embossed the background with my Cuttlebug "Birds & Swirls" folder to add some texture to the background, layered my purple flower, and added a little bling and pearls here and there to the flower and butterfly.  The main quote image has tiny flowers on it that I colored in with my Copics, and I used my decorative scissors to add a little extra detail!
