Merry Christmas from Tuffy!

Sharing this card on the La-La Land Crafts blog today!  I have a sweet little greeting fromTuffy! He is wishing you a very Merry Christmas!

It was fun to make this scenic card featuring little Tuffy...he is so adorable!!  Tuffy's little doggie house has been decorated like a Gingerbread House, and he even has a tree popped out with Zapdots, and decorated for the season!  The background to this card has been embossed with a "Snowflakes" embossing folder to add some texture.  Finished it up with a brown/white ribbon, tied the blow and added a sweet sentiment that I typed on the PC with the Calibri font!

Ice Skating Marci - Gift Bag Tag!!

Hello there and happy Tuesday! I have a fun and sweet little gift bag tag to share with you today that I am also sharing on the La-La Land Crafts Blog!

My gift bag tag is cut with a Silhouette die cut that is designed by Samantha Walker (label frame tag C00897_19210).  I thought what a sweet way to showcase Ice Skating Marci on this frame tag!!  

Marci's been colored in with Copics, then I tied a little pink bow, DMC thread, and added a little rose bud to the top!  Beneath the rectanugular piece, I added some lace and then used pearl flourishes behind Marci so as to appear that she is swooshing right by you in her adorable skates!!  Makes me want to go to the ice skating rink!!  How about you? (smile)

Skating Marci...Greetings Friends!!

Greetings Friends!! I have sweet little Ice Skating Marci to showcase for you today!!  I've paired her up with Cosmo Cricket designer papers called "Mitten Weather"!!  I love the traditional colors with a bit of purple popping out!!

Sweet Treats with Santa Marci!!

It's Saturday, and I sure hope you are enjoying your day!!  It may be a little early for Christmas...but I must say, after coloring in one of the newest La-La Land Crafts Stamps called Santa Marci, it's put me into the holiday spirit!!

I decorated this 3x5 kraft treat bag with peppermint stick candies!  I thought it would go well with the sweet baker's twine and that little peppermint candy I had waiting for me to use!!  You could actually fill the treat bag with anything, but I decided to choose peppermint sticks! During winter time, our family loves to dip peppermint sticks into hot chocolate! Yum!!

Because I wanted Santa Marci to take center stage, all I did was just use my Silhouette die cutting file (8 piece square stamp set- C01055-19210) designed by Samantha Walker as a background!  I did not have any solid red cardstock, so I decided to just cheat and use one of the red Copic markers to color the background!!  I love it because now the red matches exactly to Santa Marci's outfit!  Then,  I added some crystal glittter to Santa Marci's hat, dress, and to the top of her boots!!

Sweet Dreams Marci from La-La Land Crafts!!

Today, I am sharing Sweet Dreams Marci from La-La Land Crafts!!  Love Marci holding her little panda bear..who is just as adorable ...wouldn't you say? (smile)



For this card, I did a little paper piecing for her little nightgown and bunny slippers with beautiful and soft paper from My Minds Eye!!   I wish you could feel the texture of it!!  I loved the print on this designer paper, and it kind of reminded me of those little nightgowns I used to purchase for my beautiful daughter when she was younger!

The pink background paper has been embossed with the little hearts and a simple little ivory bow was tied with a little flower, button, and pearl added! The card base is one of my Silhouette dies by Hero Arts. I love the sweet little flowers on each of the four corners of the card base.

Something to be Thankful For...

I've got an autumn card to share with you today!!  I'm sharing sweet La-La Land Crafts Winter Marci! I love her little pose, and the sweetness in her face just makes me smile each time I see her! 

Today, I am featuring Marci with these designer papers from We R Memory Keepers called "Maple Grove"!!   I just love these warm fall colors, so I had to show off beautiful Marci in her matching coat and hat with black pearl buttons!  Now, Little Marci is ready to be sent to that special someone to let them know that "there is always something to be thankful for"!!

Then, the little mini letter stickers were cut, pieced, distressed and popped out to make the little phrase "fa la la la la"!! Something I love sing during the holidays!!

Happy Tuesday! Today, I am featuring this little cutie on the La-La Land Blog!!  I am using the new Basic Grey designer papers called "Wander", because I thought the little vehicles on the designer paper would be perfect for Luka with Truck!!

I kept the card simple and clean and just popped the sentiment out with some Helmar 3D Zapdots!  Added some twine and some vintage style buttons and ink distressed!

La-La Land's Got a NEW Release...Come & See!!

It's a NEW RELEASE day at La-La Land Crafts Blog!!  We are introducing THREE NEW stamps and ONE digi sentiment that are now available: Winter Marci, Luka with Truck, Football Luka, and a digi sentiment set (available at $4.25/per digi set) can be purchased toda right here at the La-La Land Store!!

Today, I am showcasing lovely little Winter Marci!  I immediately fell in love with this little one and I knew right off that I had to color her in warm golden caramel colors.  You see my mother owned a winter coat just like this one and in this same color.  It brought me back to my childhood days remembering how much Mom just loved that coat!  So, as a tribute to my Mom, here's sweet Winter Marci wishing you all the "Warmest Winter Wishes"!!

The designer papers I used are by Basic Grey's Wisteria collection! Winter Marci has been placed right on top of my beautiful shaped Silhouette die "Artisans Nesting Rectangular (C00685_19210)" by Samantha Walker!  Then, I tucked three Silhouette "Snowflakes (C0301)" dies by Samantha Walker to go with my winter theme!  I just love that you can size & cut these snowflakes in different sizes!!  They'd be so sweet in  larger sizes too!!

Click on the photo, and you can see the buttons on her coat are tiny shiny gold adhesive pearls!!  The itty bitty stars that come right out of the snowflakes were layered on the ride side of the sentiment that has been popped up with Helmar 3D Zapdots, as well as the long rectange paper!

Super Hero Luka - Have a Super Day!!

Sharing Star Boy Luka today on the La-La Land Blog, so thought I would share with my blog readers too!  He is one of the new Super Hero's you can find at La-La Land Crafts Store right now!!  Isn't he just the cutest & most brave little Super Hero you ever did see?  I just love his pose!!

When I saw him, I just knew he'd be perfect for my little nephew's "5th" birday..which is just around the corner!!  The background star shape is from my Silhouette, and so is the little "KAPOW" on the top right hand corner that highlights the number "5"!!  I raised it with Helmar 3D Zapdots, as well as the white background!  

For some texture, I embossed the white background carstock with my Cuttlebug Herringbone folder!  Lastly, I added some little metal brads to the four corners of the card to make it a little more masculine!!   My little nephew's gonna have fun opening this card.  Once I tell him this is him as a Super Hero, I know he will have a little smile on his precious little face!!

Marci with Rose is Sweet as Can Be!

Hope you are having a wonderful day!  Today, I am sharing this sweet little "hi there" card I made using Marci with Rose!  I chose to adhere Marci with Rose to a flower shaped die cut and to make her stand out a little, by adding some pink handstitching.  I added a sweet little crinkly ribbon and rose...and the sweet little sentiment is attached with a pearl stickpin!  The flower diecut and the border punch right beneath are both "popped" out by using some Helmar 3D Zap Dots!!

Marci with Rose & Cheerleader Marci  are both available now for a limited time in digi form at the La-la Land Shop, so you may want to grab her quickly!!  Not to fret...she will be back on September 15th in rubber, along with the other new images!

So, I have another card to share with you today that I made for the La-Land Crafts Blog!!  My card features Cheerleader Marci, who is now available in digi for a short while..so, go visit the La-La Land Store to get yours today!!! Cheerleader Marci is so excited enjoying life that she's cheering up and down!!  I created little wildflowers growing in the green grass on this beautiful blue sky day using Copics and distress inks!  The clouds, the sentiment, birdie, and Cheerleader Marci are all popped out for some added dimension!

"Happy Birthday" - Birthday Marci!!

Hello there! It's Tuesday already..oh my gosh!!  I am sharing this card I made using Birthday Marci over at La-La Land Crafts Blog today, and I also wanted to share it here on my blog with you too! 

Irina has totally outdone herself with this NEW Marci line!!  You are gonna love the whole line that will be coming out in rubber on September 15th!!  So, you will definitely want to check the  La-La Land Crafts Store on September 15th to get yours quickly..as I know they are gonna fly out the door! 

I wanted this card to speak FUN..FUN..FUN!! So, I decided to use these fabulous designer papers by My Mind's Eye - Quite Contrary (Jack & Jill)! There's some border punching, a rolled flower (made with the same paper I used to make the bottom border of the card), and I also added a sweet little "Happy Birthday" tag sentiment to the card and tied it with black DMC and added it to the bold red ribbon!

Birthday Marci's been colored in with Copics and her sweet little panda bear has been layered to pop right out!  The Spellbinder label that Birthday Marci is on also has Helmar 3D Zap dots too! Birthday Marci's all ready to wish that special girl a very happy birthday!!

Ballerina Marci..Thinking of You!!

Today, I am sharing this card I made with the NEW Ballerina Marci stamp for La-La Land Crafts Blog!! Ballerina Marci  is the most sweetest thing ever!!  She is part of the new line of Marci stamps that La-La Land Crafts is coming out with on September 15th!!  I was so excited to create with this new line..and the images that Irina has designed are phenomenal!

If you are interested, check out the La-La Land Store for a couple of these NEW digi's!  Today, Sweet Dreams Marci is available for a limited time only!  And, you should see Pirate Luka in digi.  I am so in love with all these new sets, not to menton all the awesome stamps La-La-Land has available for purchase right now!! 

To make Ballerina Marci sparkle a bit more, I've added some stickles onto her little tutu and to the little tiny rosette flowers on her outfit, and on her adorable headband! I even made a little rose type flower with a few Spellbinder's labels and added a tiny pearl and some more glitter to sparkle!! There's a few additional pearls on this sentiment as well!!

La-La Land - Challenge LLWWC#50 - Christmas!

We sure had fun celebrating La-La Land Craft's 1st Beach Bash party and having Irina announce a new character, Marci!  Then, this Tuesday Irina announced yet another character named Luka!  I just know these characters are gonna be a big hit, as they are the sweetest and most adorable!!  If you are interested in purchasing either character in digi, just visit the La-La Land store today!!

Now, for today's La-La Land Crafts challenge LLWWC#50, we are creating Christmas cards!  I went the non-traditional route and chose to work with a soft color combo.  The designer papers I used are from Webster's, and I just adore that "Winter's Wings/Home for the Holidays" 6x6 paper pad!  I've made quite a few cards with this set!!  Winter La La is all bundled up in her sweet winter attire!!  I've added some embossing using my Cuttlebug "Distressed Snow" folder!  I added those sweet little flowers I purchased from Michael's for 50% off!! Yeah..I love a good buy!!  And, those sweet little pearls are from Michael's too at $1.99!

La La Land Crafts 1st Birthday Bash!!

It's La-La Land Crafts 1st Birthday Bash this week, and I am so excited to share Beach La La with you today having lots of "fun in the sun"!!

La-La Land Challenge #48 - Upcycle it!!

Happy Wednesday..It's time for this week's La La Land Crafts Challenge, and that is to... take something that you would normally throw away and "upcycle" it into something fabulous to use on your card!

My upcycle item is to taking a page from an old book, and creating a beautiful flower for my card!  Since Princess La La is all elegantly dressed in her beautiful and sparkly gown and tiara, I decided to create a matching sparkly flower!

The dress, tiara, and flower have all been colored in with my Copics.  Then, I added some diamond Stickles for that bit of sparkly.  I also added that sweet little pearl for part of her necklace! The designer papers are from Basic Grey's Capella line, which I totally adore!!
